GET READY FOR WAR!

It has been in discussion for a while... well, in fact, the decision was quickly made, but we'd like to make an announcement of a coöperation with W.A.R.P. (Warhammer Allied Role-Play).

W.A.R.P. is a server-coördination ensuring that on the server we're playing we can make sure RP is not neglected and the whole war-effort is better coördinated. We look forward to this alliance with them, and the enormous amount of new guilds we will meet.

 

They've invited us to join their site at http://warp.fatgob.com/forums/index.php where we can use the forums to coördinate.

 

Aside that, I wish all the people who entered or will enter beta a nice time and hope to see you guys in there.

In addition the WARP alliance has named Burlok as its chosen server, so that is where the Black Black Banner is rolling. :)

The day of Reckoning is at hand! It has been a while since it was announced and I'm later with this news on the site, but better late than never, right???

 

On the 7th of September The Open Beta will open up. And just like Closed Beta The Black Banner will be there, if not with a greater amount of people. As the Bells of War announce our marches into the Lands of the Empire, many things on our side are changing as well.

Tzeentch is not just a fantasy God, but also emphasizes a bit what the guild is. Constantly striving to adapt and staying fun for its members. Therefore a couple of announcements are to be made:

 

Our "highly trained" staff of drunk students and other lowlifes, such as snotlings, are making work to create a new site for The Black Banner. More info will leak out later as plans are better visualised.

Our memberlist will be swiped of longterm absent members on release, but they will be reinvited through a fast way if they happen to return after the cutting and beheading has come to an end (provided they didn't got decapitated in real life). These are but few of more changes.

 

Nonetheless, the OB download is available, so head to war-europe.com and prepare for the sounding of the horns and the battle-chants of the Black Banner, because you will hear those a lot the coming days.

Another month, another newsletter and another month I lack the originiality to start differently. This time it's written differently as it doesn't appears on the frontpage but on our new forumsection. August has roared passed, and with that a new newsletter arrived. I was a tad late with posting it up here, but those things happen when you start dating girls and other events try to lure you away from the magnificent game abbrevated as WAR.

The High Elf land of Ulthuan, allthough under siege of the Dark Elves. I hope to draw my power from it's rich pools once and claim it as my own. Of course, after killing off all the faeries and unicorns...

 

 

 

Our 'allies' of the Druchii-kinship have been revealed having two classes at the moment:

Long ago, when Chaos was first unleashed upon the world, the Elven champion Aenarion drew the dread Sword of Khaine from its altar and used its terrible power to save his people from annihilation. When Aenarion died, his son Malekith was deemed unsuitable for the throne. Although he was a mighty warrior, a great sorcerer , a brilliant general and the rightful heir, many Elves opposed his coronation. They feared he was too focused on war, and potentially a de-stabilizing influence on the High Elf race. In retaliation, over many years Malekith engineered a terrible civil war that divided the race of Elves into two factions.
